About Ivan

Ivan is an experienced and passionate stylist with many years of experience creating beautiful hairstyles and natural colors. His background as a painter gives him an eye for detail and an understanding of how color and shape can accentuate a person's features and bring out their natural beauty. Ivan is dedicated to staying up to date with the latest trends and techniques, attending classes and seminars, and teaching with other stylists to ensure his clients always get the best results. He is a master hair cutter and is transitioning to focus more on hair cutting and styling, with a passion for creating beautiful hairstyles for his clients

HAIRCUT - Welcome to Salon Gi! We are delighted to inform you that we are always accepting new clients for haircuts, wash and blow dry services. You can conveniently book a service online below. Our services are provided by our experienced stylist Ivan, with 17 years of experience. We look forward to seeing you soon!

COLOR - If you are a new client interested in a color service, we kindly ask that you first schedule a haircut or blowdry service. Without a consultation, we cannot accommodate any new color requests. This is to ensure that we can properly assess the possibility of achieving your desired color, taking into consideration your hair's history and condition. Please note that the fee for the haircut or blowout will not be deducted from the cost of the color service. If you're a brunette seeking grey root touch-ups, please be aware that the color line used at Salon Gi tends to be naturally warm. As a result, some clients may notice a red undertone, especially when highlighting over hair that has been previously colored with permanent dye.
We typically don’t recommend highlighting unless you specifically desire those warm tones.

HIGHLIGHT / REFRESH OR TOUCH-UP - If you’re looking for a highlight refresh or touch-up, feel free to book online. However, if you prefer a consultation first, please book a haircut or blowout as your consultation.

INSTAGRAM - If you discovered us on Instagram or were referred to Salon Gi through our account, please keep in mind that the photos you see are for reference only. Each individual's hair is unique, influenced by various factors, and we aim to guide you based on that.
It's important to note that 99% of Ivan’s posts feature clients who do not receive permanent root color services.
For any scheduling concerns, such as running late or needing to reschedule, please refrain from sending direct messages on Instagram. Instead, kindly reach out via email or call the contact information provided on our site.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise and require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, please be aware that any cancellation or reschedule made less than 24 hours before your service will result in a cancellation fee. This fee will be equivalent to 50% of the reserved service amount. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call (203) 517-8282 at least 24 hours before your appointment. Alternatively, you can cancel or reschedule your appointment through your email or text confirmation. Thank you for understanding.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise, but we kindly ask that you arrive on time for your hair appointment. Punctuality is crucial for ensuring a great experience for you and for respecting other clients who arrive as scheduled. Since Ivan books appointments back-to-back, arriving 10-15 minutes late may reduce the time available for your service and affect the finishing time.
